🎲BlackJAXX GAME RULES🎲
• Players may bet 10k – 5mil Gil. The goal of BlackJAXX is to beat the Dealer's hand by getting as close to 21 without going over.
• After collecting Bets, the Dealer draws the 1st card of their hand. Then the Dealer draws a separate starting 2-Card hand for every Player by entering the command "/dice 13" 2 times into party chat.†Card-Point Values:
• Dealt Card Rolls of 2–9 are worth their rolled value in points.
• Dealt Card Rolls of 10–13 are each worth 10 points.
• A Dealt Card Roll of 1 (Ace) is a wild. The Player chooses it to be 1 or 11 points, which they decide immediately.• Each Player starting from the Dealer's left, now chooses to 'Hit' or 'Stay', hopefully without busting, until their turn is complete. Then passes to the next Player until all Players have finished.
• Then it's the Dealer's turn to 'Hit' or 'Stay': the difference in BlackJAXX is the Dealer may optionally 'Stay' on 14 or above at their discretion. ✫So adjust your strategies accordingly.✫Choices of Play:
• Hit – The Dealer Draws the Player an additional card by entering the command "/dice 13" into party chat. The Player may 'Hit' for more cards until they wish to 'Stay', or Bust from exceeding 21 points.††
• Stay – Ends the Player's turn by staying with their current Hand's point value.††
• Double Down – After receiving their first 2 cards, the Player may choose to double their bet. The Player then receives a 3rd final card completing their hand. (may not be used during a 'Split')††
• Split – After receiving their first 2 cards (which must match), the Player may 'Split', dividing their hand into 2 separate hands and doubling their bet. The Player then plays each hand separately. When splitting an Ace, a Natural BlackJAXX is not possible, but instead awarded Regular win. Additionally, 'Split' Aces only receive a 2nd final card to completing each hand.††
• Insurance – This option isn't offered due to the limitation of the roll system in FFXIV.Winning:
• If a Player's first 2 cards are an Ace and any 10-point card, they score a Natural BlackJAXX, instantly winning a x2.5 Payout.
• Players that end the game with a higher hand value than the Dealer without busting, are awarded a Regular win of x2.0 Payout.
• When the Dealer's hand Busts, all Players that haven't busted themselves are awarded a Regular win of x2.0 Payout.
• A 'Push' occurs when the Dealer ties a Player's hand without busting. This rolls the Player's Bet over to the next round.† any rolls conducted outside of party chat are null, and must be re-rolled.
†† the Dealer will never assume the Player's choices, they need to indicate in chat if they're Hitting, Staying, Splitting, Doubling Down, or Staying.
